CARE INSTRUCTIONS

alpaca and Wool. Hand wash gently by pre-wetting the garment with cool water (up to 35 degrees Celsius / 95 degrees Fahrenheit) then transferring into similar temperature soapy water. Gently wash. Transfer piece to similar temperature clean water to rinse, repeat until water runs clear. Do not let water from the faucet run directly on the piece. Do not wring. Dry flat in the shade, away from direct heat or sunlight. When storing wool knits, do not hang as this will distort the shape. Fold the knits in a drawer. Treat stains as quickly as possible. At the end of the season clean the garment before storing in a cool, dry place.

Cotton. Hand spun, hand woven cotton fabric has an added value of being cooler, softer, more absorbent. It breathes better than machine made cotton fabric. It has a textural beauty and visible character which is not present in machine made fabric. The cotton fabric is very simple to wash. It gets softer and more absorbent with every wash. Hand wash cold both cotton garments with a gentle liquid soap. Wash dark colors separately. Avoid bleaching. Line dry in the shade, as prolonged exposure to the sun can cause fading.
